The fact that these items come from other sites does not mean that Mr. Hoffman or SES is endorsing the content of these sites. While at school, student use of the Internet is carefully monitored. Students have been told and understand that a video from YouTube posted on my blog (maybe showcasing soccer skills, etc.) does not give them permission to surf YouTube. Students may only view the specific items embedded or linked to on the blog. Parents and students must exercise care and discretion when surfing these sites at home as their content policies are not as stringent as Salome Elementary School's.
