You have just watched Planet Earth's Great Plains.
This is what I want you to blog about:

First make a list of all the environments you remember seeing in the video (you may refer to your notes).
Next, for each environment, make a list of organisms (plants are organisms too).
Then list the specific challenges each organism faces in those environments to survive.
Next, what strategies does each organism use to surmount those challenges?
Lastly, look at those strategies that you just listed. Which ones do you think are passed down from generation to generation in their DNA and which strategies do you think they learn through experience?
